Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH develops various military land vehicles with tracked and wheeled drive systems. Against the backdrop of increasing digitalization, modern vehicles are becoming more complex, and the integration and verification effort required is growing accordingly. For this reason, the EDS department is looking for a test engineer for electrical/electronic (digital) systems (m/f/d).

  • Creation of integration and verification concepts at the overall and subsystem level
  • Creation of requirement- and scenario-based test specifications
  • Specification of the necessary test environments and simulators
  • Test configuration and automation using the dSPACE toolchain
  • Monitoring, controlling, and performing tests in laboratories and vehicles
  • Managing subcontractors (m/f/d) in the area of integration and verification
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in (embedded) software integration and verification as well as hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN 2.0b, CANopen, SAE J1939
  • Experience with serial interfaces such as RS-232/ 422 / 485 and with Ethernet such as DDS, TCP/IP, Multicast, ICMP, IGMP
  • Experience with the dSPACE toolchain (SYNECT, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk)
  • Experience with Mathworks products such as MATLAB, Simulink, and toolboxes
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 desirable
  • A structured, independent way of working and strong team spirit
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel
