Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience in engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with private, hybrid, or public cloud technology, migrating Linux or other operating systems, including virtualization (e.g., VMware).
- Experience in container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects) and operations methodology like Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and related technologies.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable systems.
- Experience in infrastructure automation and functional operations of server, storage and network functions.
- Experience with data centers consolidation, relocation, migration or virtualization projects.
- Experience with networking and security concepts (e.g., Routing, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), load balancers, firewalls, Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work and partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Utilize Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for infrastructure and application modernization.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a solution on Google Cloud.
