Job Title

  • Chemical Assembler – Production & Processing

Shifts Available

  • Training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • Transition to 3rd Shift (12:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • Overtime available on all shifts (Hours may slightly vary)

Job Description

  • Operate and monitor chemical mixing processes using Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
  • Facilitate the chemical reaction process, including adding reactants to raw materials and charging vessels.
  • Package finished products from bulk storage into drums and totes and label them properly.
  • Read, understand, and follow SDS (Safety Data Sheets), batch instructions, and safety labeling systems (NFPA & HMIS).
  • Load and unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain equipment, perform miscellaneous maintenance using wrenches and tools.
  • Ensure fittings, closures, and documentation are completed accurately.
  • Run and maintain the ALAR wastewater treatment system.
  • Monitor production quality through visual checks and process charts.
  • Keep work area clean and follow safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist other departments and follow guidance from chemical leads and supervisors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a chemical production or industrial environment is required, preferably at or more than 1-2 years of experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to perform equipment maintenance.
  • Experience handling both dry and wet materials in a chemical setting.
  • Proficient in the use of power tools, including drills, tape measures, and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with SDS, NFPA, HMIS systems, and chemical safety protocols.
  • Ability to calculate quantities using basic math and perform detailed documentation.
  • Forklift certified or willing to obtain certification.
  • Carpentry, woodworking, or furniture repair experience is a plus.
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow detailed processes.
  • Creative and solution-oriented, especially in troubleshooting production challenges.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or certifications in chemical operations or manufacturing a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in a chemical or industrial processing role is preferred.

Pay:

  • $20.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
