Our Mechanical Engineer III will oversee projects from initial customer needs analysis through to project specification, conceptualization, design, testing, and installation. Take on diverse, complex design engineering tasks with a focus on both small and large system design projects, working closely with management through verbal and written communication. Lead the research, design, development, testing, and installation of intricate equipment, components, and machinery. Design, build, and manage the operation of advanced systems and machinery. Collaborate with engineers, service teams, and sourcing personnel to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and manage the project budget and timeline, leveraging a strong combination of design expertise and project management skills.
  • Lead large-scale design projects in collaboration with Mechanical Engineers (I, II, and III) and shop personnel, ensuring effective coordination, maintaining project progress, and meeting all deadlines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BOMs, ECNs, and REAs, to support the engineering team in the development, design, or modification of products.
  • Travel as necessary to assess project sites, facilitate installations, and resolve engineering challenges or modifications.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
  • Seven to ten years of machine building experience.
  • Proficient in design using AutoCad Inventor or other 3D software.
  • Solid working knowledge with manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows, Object Oriented Languages and PC compatible hardware.
  • Have the ability to take an idea or concept from a clean paper design through production.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$110,000 - $125,00 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
