APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Identify and drive quality improvements on Apple products and manufacturing processes to enhance overall product quality, performance, and improve customer satisfaction. Develop Product Quality Plans (PQP) to substantiate product quality at each development phase, from product introduction to the production stage, as a way to develop comprehensive plans to ensure and substantiate product quality at each development phase. Engage with cross-functional teams, manufacturing sites, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners on end-to-end product quality, reliability tests, and field quality to resolve quality incidents. Conduct reliability tests and analyze field quality data to proactively address and resolve quality incidents. Facilitate communication between teams to ensure continuous quality improvement. Spearhead technical failure analysis on new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing processes to determine root causes and develop risk mitigation strategies. Determine root causes of quality incidents and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence. Work closely with engineering teams to implement design changes based on failure analysis findings. Sustain product quality by collaborating with AppleCare Service and engineering teams for issue resolution. Collaborate with AppleCare Service and engineering teams to address and resolve product quality issues. Implement corrective actions to maintain and improve sustained product quality throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct periodic reviews of factory quality data with cross-functional teams, OEM partners, senior management, and executive teams to evaluate and present findings for continuous improvement and alignment on quality strategies with overall business goals. International Travel Required 25%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 - $227,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
