For our office in Hamburg we are recruiting an Intern / Working Student (f/m/d) for our Communications department on a limited-term contract for 9-12 months:

As Intern / Working Student in our Communications Department you support the Communication Manager in all aspects of internal & external communications and Press Relations of CMA CGM Germany and help to ensure a positive brand awareness that is in line with the company’s goals and strategic alignment. In your role you will report directly to the Communication Manager of CMA CGM (Deutschland) GmbH.

Your responsibilities:

Communication & Press Relations:

  • Support the Communication Manager in developing internal communication
  • Support the Communiation Manager in developing external communication
  • Market Research: scan social media channels, prepare messages in order to present the German Cluster accordingly
  • Assist with external enquiries from third parties, such as press/journalists, vessel visit requests by media, offers by newspapers and magazines
  • Support in organizing press events, interviews or press conferences (e.g. at vessel christenings or first Germany calls of new ships)
  • Optimize press distribution lists

Media Reporting:

  • Daily sighting of the press (print & online) to gather most important news concerning the maritime industry and CMA CGM
  • Preparation of weekly press reviews for the Communication Manager

Other:

  • Support at organizing CSR related events & initiatives

You bring abroad:

  • Friendly and professional communication both in writing and in direct contact
  • Confidence in dealing with modern office organization and communication tools, in particular the use of MS Office products
  • Very good written and spoken English (min. level B2)
  • You enjoy teamwork
  • Service orientation is a matter of course for you
  • You communicate clearly and empathetically - both internally and externally
  • You find suitable solutions to complex issues as part of a team
  • You solve challenges with creativity and commitment
