MAE is seeking to hire a Research Associate to support the development and validation of AI-driven tools for metamaterial design. The role contributes to NTU’s research mission through model testing, data analysis, proposal preparation, and publication support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other researchers (including PhD students and research staff) to conduct research work on AI-assisted design;
  • Support the validation of large language models for generative metamaterial design;
  • Assist in building and testing AI-assisted design tools under supervision.
  • Characterize the mechanical properties of printed products;
  • Write research proposals;
  • Publish research results in reputable international journals.

Job Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Good publication record;
  • Good communication and writing in English for research work;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent teamwork awareness;
  • Strong responsibility for research/work.
