Summary of the role

In this position you will focus on enhancing operational efficiency through reliable data quality, software lifecycle management, and process implementation.

Your primary responsibility is to support Software Asset Management (SAM) team with data quality, and Operational Efficiency team with accuracy and completeness of Jira tickets by regularly reviewing and updating ticket information for reporting purposes. Additionally, you will be involved in maintaining accurate records of software assets and in identifying process improvements for asset management.

In this role, we’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. Key responsibilities

Support Software Asset Management:

• Assist in maintaining accurate records of software assets.
• Contribute to ensuring data quality within asset management records.
• Help document asset management processes and procedures.
• Assist in documenting audit findings.
• Contribute to the documentation of best practices.

Support Software Catalog Maintenance:

• Assist with data entry and updates to the software catalog.
• Contribute to the consistency and accuracy of catalog entries.
• Assist in documenting procedures for data entry and maintenance.
• Help create user guides and training materials for catalog management.

Support Financial Analysis & Jira Ticket:

• Assist with budget tracking for external software services.
• Help to gather data and identify any unusual trends in spending.
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of information within Jira tickets.
• Support the overall quality of data used by the team.

About the ideal candidate

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or a related field
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate and consistent records, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, including data entry, updates, and documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail is important.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge in using tools such as Jira or similar platforms for updating and reviewing tickets is a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment while supporting team objectives.
• Proficiency in English; German
