The successful candidate will play a critical role in the daily management of our accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring the efficient follow-up of outstanding payments and the timely resolution of delinquent accounts. This position necessitates direct engagement with customers, collaborative efforts with internal departments, and active support in the implementation of collection strategies as defined by management. As a Collections Analyst, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

Management of Cash Collections and Portfolio:

• Execute established collection rules and methodologies for each customer segment.
• Conduct daily monitoring of the customer portfolio, identifying accounts with overdue payments.
• Initiate contact with customers to negotiate payment terms and schedules, and resolve any account-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with other internal departments (e.g., Sales, Billing) to facilitate the expeditious resolution of customer claims impacting payment.
• Provide support to the Cash App team for the accurate application of received payments.
• Prepare and maintain precise and up-to-date customer account information within the designated system.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for enhancement within existing collection processes and propose viable solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer information within company systems, in coordination with the Sales Administration department.
• Facilitate and monitor the proper integration of relevant information into company systems.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate periodic reports detailing collection status, including the tracking of objectives and the identification of exceptions.
• Provide timely alerts regarding significant deviations (e.g., overdue amounts, claim volume).
• Maintain and update collection dashboards with pertinent information.

Are you a MATCH?

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in collections, accounting, or customer service roles within a corporate environment.

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Google Sheetl (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis).
• Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) or customer relationship management (CRM) systems for customer and payment tracking.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and collections practices.
