The Project Quality Manager (PQM) is in charge of action plan definition to achieve the Powertrain Project Quality objectives, by carrying out the actions necessary to their elaboration, consolidation and management. Responsibilities include:
- Establish the Quality plan and ensure the proper application during program execution.
- Establish the results of the design process through the powertrain design assessment (A3C) as well as the quality part of the milestone document, and evaluating the
- customer impact in case of gaps.
- Ensures that lesson learnt from previous project are well known and applied: Alert in case of deviation and manage corrective actions when needed, and propose
- improvements when relevant.
- Manages quality assessment of industrialization in close coordination with CX, Industrial Quality Team.
- Support the program teams to prepare milestone reviews & follow up related action plans and validate expected maturity status.
- Ensure close coordination with all stakeholders on his perimeter: core team, vehicle projects, Quality Department, Mechanics or Vehicle plants, Joint Venture Team and
- engineering suppliers if any , for convergence of project milestone deliverable requirement.
- Manages project customer complaint and ensures timely closure with proper root cause analysis & standardized action plan.
- Manage quality convergence by applying the quality processes from the preliminary phase up to SOP + 6 months.
- Ensure the achievement of quality target of upcoming secondary launches of e-powertrain by evaluating the outcome of the design processes and writing the
- secondary launch quality assessment.
- Guarantee that there is no impact on quality during product or process changes after mass production by writing quality assessment in PEPP milestones (for serial life).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in electrical / electronics / mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Quality experience or Project Management
- Problem Solving ability and basic understanding of design and manufacturing processes
- Rigor, very good Soft Skills / Presentation / Communication skills
- Transversal and conflict management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in electrical / electronics / mechanical engineering
- Knowhow of Quality Tools, APQP process, customer claim handling
