Educational and Experience Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Three years professional experience in related field of teaching, training of personnel, employee development, leadership development, project management, and event planning. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Assists the Program Manager in the development of the specific program assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinates the overall program such as scheduling dates on LEMIT calendar, reserving classrooms, negotiating contracts with instructors, developing the registration process, ordering supplies, negotiating hotel room block contracts, negotiating banquet and audio-visual services. Ability to speak in front of groups and handle classroom management effectively. Analyzes information accurately and adopts an effective course of action. Ability to deal successfully with people and develop relationships with participants and instructors, professional organizations. Analyzes and solves complex technical problems. Assumes independent responsibility for decisions and actions. Effectively direct the work of team members. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Up to 20% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
