Job Description for Advanced. Manufacturing Product Technology Engineer:

Manufacturing Product Technology Engineer. In this key role, the Sr. Manufacturing Product Technology Engineer is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

New product development/ introduction/manufacturing support

• Provide primary technical manufacturing support in adsorbent/catalyst technologies, manage and revise product recipes within the guidelines provided by R&D.
• Lead and conduct semi-work experiment in ZJG semi-work lab with well-designed experiment plan and fully complied to ZJG plant HS&E requirement.
• Support product development projects by scaling up the recipe in Semi-work lab, leading new products trail run in workshop with process parameters identified from semi-work experiment.
• Support local manufacturing team on raw materials qualification, product quality trouble shooting, process optimization with professional knowledge.
• Work with global MPT team as primary contract person on new product transfer to UOP China production lines.
• Lead technical scouting on new manufacturing processes and develop/optimize the manufacturing process for adsorbent/catalyst.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical process engineering, material science, Inorganic chemistry.
• At least 5 years work experience in manufacturing process optimization, and new product introduction in petrochemical industry.
• Solid foundation on chemistry unit operations or familiar with chemical plant operations.
• Project management skills and experience. Trouble shooting capability with strong data analysis skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Learn Expert is a plus.
