This Position reports to:

Regional Asia Sales manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the defined industry segments, for the assigned area. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics in Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the segment team members and reinforces global sales efficiency and performance.
  • Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverages ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.
  • Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
  • Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
  • 8+ years in the Oil & Gas sector with expertise in automation, electrification, or process control.
  • Proven track record in key account management, business growth, and segment leadership.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities; strategic and self-driven.
  • Willing to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
