Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Engineer who possesses outstanding technical and analytical capabilities, along with a proven track record of achieving results quickly and efficiently. The role involves developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and performing related analyses specifically for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering applicable to both prototype and production-level designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for flight-critical avionics systems.
• Conduct related analyses for mechanical designs.
• Integrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems.
• Create work instructions, standard operating procedures, and test plans.
• Improve manufacturing processes through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Support both development and production programs.
• Handle and track systems for continuous material flow to manufacturing lines.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience with integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
• 1+ year of experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience from internships or college organizations.
• Technical writing experience.
• Experience with various automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods.
• Familiarity with QTP/ATP, functional testing, and environmental testing.
• Formal training or certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Redmond. The role may involve working back half days, with openings available for multiple shifts, totaling six positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr.
