Job Description

As part of Eataly’s Finance Department, an Accounts Payable Analyst facilitates efficiency in Eataly’s financial operations by remitting all payables in an accurate and timely manner. An Accounts Payable Analyst prioritizes daily tasks and effectively communicates with demanding vendors. Reports to the Accounts Payable Manager.

  • Enters accurately all assigned payables transactions
  • Keeps pace with the Inventory Control team in order to ensure timely processing and payment of all invoices
  • Requests proactively and reviews vendor statements to avoid aging payables and missing invoices
  • Organizes and collaborates with other Eataly departments to ensure timely payments
  • Creates and maintains reports from various software systems to make corrections where necessary and prevent erroneous entries
  • Replies to vendor inquiries and requests in a timely manner according to departmental standards
  • Monitors disbursement of payments by credit card, wire, ACH, or check
  • Partners with Management on highly sensitive payables including but not limited to rent and legal settlements
  • Compiles, analyzes, and reports open payables on a weekly basis for payment scheduling and financial reporting
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required advanced Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
  • Ability to effectively communicate in order to ensure accurate cost and expense reporting
  • Outstanding organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting, finance, or an operations role

The annual salary for this role is $70,000-$75,000
