Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least five years of engineering experience or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency with database technology (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
  • Broad knowledge of analog, digital and RF circuit design preferred.
  • Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, virtualization technologies, and test environments preferred.
  • Accomplished in the use of Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and other laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and understand simple to complex assembly procedures, drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to recognize acceptable and defective assemblies from procedures and drawings.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of Company developed software for manufacturing assembly and test processes.

Responsibilities

Summary

Develops and maintains all production test equipment and software. Reviews, monitors, documents and analyzes testing and results to identify problems and provide solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Designs test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new or existing products according to engineering specifications.
  • Develops testing protocol and equipment for various aspects, such as usability, database impact, error and bug finding, regression testing, and implementation scenarios.
  • Identifies, analyzes and creates detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as product defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with design engineering to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.
  • Gathers product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, and safety standards).
  • Monitors all production stages and develops test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Analyzes test results, detect issues and track root causes. Suggest fixes and improvements.
  • Documents technical issues and solutions. Builds automated testing systems for regular checks.
  • Ensures our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO).
  • Tracks problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques.
  • Creates detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project as needed to ensure replicability, compliance with standards, and growth of company knowledge base.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes.
  • Provides frequent feedback to developers, including recommendations for improvements, evaluation of problems, potential solutions, and discussion of further test requirements.
  • Designs and implement automated testing tools when possible, and update tools as needed to ensure currency and accuracy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

Pay USD $80,000.00/Yr. to USD $95,000.00/Yr.
