Purpose of the Job: As an Sr Information Systems Auditor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and recommending improvements for our information systems, computer networks, information security, and management control systems. You will interact with company employees, middle management, and third-party business representatives to ensure our systems are secure and efficient.
Essential Functions:
- Lead Audit Plans: Develop audit plans by identifying business process and IT risks, assessing their severity, and determining business impact.
- Full Audit Cycle: Participate in planning, risk assessment, identifying controls, creating audit procedures, testing processes, preparing workpapers, and developing conclusions.
- Communication: Confirm audit findings with auditees and the Audit Management team, document findings, and assist with issue resolution.
- Fraud Investigations: Participate in confidential fraud investigations.
- SOX Compliance: Take a primary role in maintaining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
- Information Systems Audits: Perform audits of information systems, computing networks, cybersecurity, and more.
- Work Papers: Prepare neat and organized work papers that support observations and conclusions.
- Expertise: Demonstrate intermediate knowledge in IT auditing, including logical security, network security, change management, disaster recovery, and more.
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on changes in IT audit practices, regulatory requirements, and IT risk frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Four to six years of relevant auditing, controls testing, or information systems experience.
- Certifications: CISA or CPA with CITP.
- Travel: Ability to travel alone with luggage (e.g., laptop, personal belongings).
Occupational Requirements:
- Comfortable physical environment with discretion about walking, standing, sitting.
- Physical presence in the company office on a part-time or full-time basis.
- No adverse working or environmental conditions expected.
- Individual Contributor role.
- Sufficient visual acuity and agility to conduct searches and examine documents.
