What will you do?

  • Develop structural analysis calculations for pressure vessels in compliance with ASME and PED standards.
  • Advise engineering teams on updates and changes in codes and directives.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design concepts, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for design optimization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to pressure vessel design.

How will you do it?

  • Utilize advanced analysis software such as ANSYS and Compress to perform structural analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of engineering practices to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on analysis findings and recommendations.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pressure vessel design or mechanical product development.
  • Proficient knowledge of ASME codes, European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and related standards.
  • Experience with stress analysis techniques and familiarity with FEA tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
