Bosch Rexroth Corporation seeks Systems Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 8 Southchase Court, Fountain Inn, South Carolina 29644. Responsible for analyzing and selecting valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes among other components to match the performance and efficiency required. Handle the components functionality modelling which includes efficiency and performance model of valve spools, pump dynamics, motor dynamics that includes flow forces, pressure drop, pressure dynamics among. Simulate system behavior by grouping components, which is later used to support control systems design by the software engineering team. Design control system in MATLAB/Simulink which are designed to overcome external disturbances and to extract the maximum capabilities in performance for internal Rexroth components. Support control functionality integration into embedded software system. Investigate the profitability, return of investment and feasibility of ideas generated by R&O group. Provide analysis for testing data, which is done with customized MATLAB scripts which provides several comparison insights like RMSE, SD, tracking index, overshoot, efficiency, cycle times performance checks. Design testing procedures for Rexroth platform solutions regarding pump controls. Support the development of Application Engineering projects by evaluating and proposing drive system diagrams, selecting components to meet customer requirements, and assisting the sales team. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Control Systems Engineer or occupation involving hydraulics systems and control systems. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Market or academics research in systems engineering, with a focus on hydraulic systems and components (valves, pumps, motors, or gearboxes); (2) Analyzing testing data using customized MATLAB scripts; (3) Modelling hydraulics system behaviors (valve spools, pump dynamics, and motor dynamics); (4) MATLAB, Simulink and Amesim; (5) Control systems design; and (6) Customer requirements analysis and hydraulic systems components specification. Telecommuting: 1 day per week work from home permitted. Travel Requirements: 25% domestic and international travel.
