About the Job

Google’s Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) team is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer.In this role, you will own strategy and drive execution across a portfolio of projects, ranging from network switches to machine learning pods. The goal is to reduce time and cost for platform deployment, maintenance, and repairs.

In order to achieve the goal, as the Hardware Design Engineer you will interface with stakeholders from data center, manufacturing, and product design to define design for operations requirements. You will influence new platform architectures through insights, design changes, and trade off analyses.

  • Define the trade-offs between design and serviceability to enable decisions.
  • Oversee the validation and execution of the mechanical design requirements, from ideation to production.
