About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to drive commercial and product efforts across our US Enterprise business. The GM will be responsible for technical expertise in performance advertising. You will drive commercial strategy, revenue goals, personnel readiness, product requirements, and ensure flawless operational execution within the industries that you will support. You will report directly to our VP of North America and serve as the advocate for performance advertising both internally and externally. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, deep industry knowledge, technical mastery, and the ability to drive revenue growth through innovative sales tactics and strong customer relationships. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the leadership, development, and optimization of scaled sales organizations, across a variety of sectors, and the ability to work cross-functionally to identify and capitalize on opportunities. About the Team: The enterprise ad sales team works with some of the largest organizations across all categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands. Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth across various verticals. - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships - Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market demands - Serve as a voice-of-customer for the performance ecosystem—informing product roadmaps by relaying client needs and identifying key feature opportunities - Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with key cross functional partners to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives - Partner with measurement and data science teams to evolve and evangelize TikTok’s performance attribution framework, ensuring clients can effectively track and optimize ROI. - Advance our customers' strategy and execution of Performance and Demand Gen for Performance campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in a sales, account management and/or product solution selling role - 5+ years of leadership experience, including experience managing and mentoring managers as well as individual contributors - Must be willing to work in New York, New York Preferred Qualifications: - Experience managing advertisers throughout the funnel with a deep understanding of their challenges and objectives with a demonstrated ability to lead technically complex sales conversations related to pixels, conversion APIs, feed-based ads, attribution windows, and signal loss solutions - Prior experience with commerce-specific solutions such as dynamic product ads, shopping campaigns, and feed management systems - Deep knowledge of performance platforms Ads Manager, or programmatic DSPs, and how they compare to TikTok’s ad ecosystem. - Experience leading multi-region teams or navigating global, matrixed organizations - Experience partnering with third-party measurement partners (e.g., Nielsen, MMM vendors) and commerce integrations (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) - Leadership experience engaging and influencing at the executive level with cross-functional groups within a fast-growing organization
