My day at EssilorLuxottica
Manage & improve the facilities to proactive support operations. Responsible for manage facilities system to ensure the uninterrupted manufacturing activities, fulfill the requirement from ISO14001, ISO45001, company EHS and local laws/regulations. This includes directs full scope facility operation, facility engineering, preventive maintenance, servicing program, and project management to continue improve performance of all facilities which support company sustainable business growing and strategies.
- Establishes and maintain a system to minimize risk. Physically audits/guides work of subordinates and installation projects to ensure all system under compliance way.
- Promote TPM/WCM methodology to build up a sustainable facility structure and system.
- Manage the facility projects to make sure the delivered projects can meet the defined quality requirement with cost-effectiveness and within defined timeframe
- Contractor management, technical support to all internal customers when necessary.
- Make planning for next turnover and report. Operation report and cost control planning.
- Performs management evaluation and competency training, and development of facilities engineering and operations personnel.
- Human resource management and training employee with skilled skill. Coach and develop the facility team members to be a highly motivated and disciplined team.
- Role as a core technical competency of team regarding theoretically and practically.
- Plan, direct, monitor Plant preventative, corrective maintenance and repair activities to secure production equipment operate reliably.
- Plan, prioritize schedule, and manage production equipment maintenance activities (for example planned maintenance programs, shutdowns, or emergency repairs) to rectify breakdowns, malfunctions and minimize business disruptions.??
- Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resource.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance methodology, equipment, tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance team.
- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop maintenance staff so that repair and service activities are competed accurately, safely and on time.
- Role as a core technical competency of team regarding theoretically and practically. Leading promote TPM, WCM program.
- Ensures that work and processes comply with company policies and management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and others, if applicable.
Must have
Bachelor Degree preferred major in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or relevant field. Demonstrate competency of electrical, electronics, PLC both from theoretically and practically.
- More than 5 years’ experience in building and facility management and 3 years as a management, prefer with CNC industry maintenance experience (Brother CNC, Fanuc CNC/ Robots, Denso robots, Laser machine)
- Experience in Wastewater treatment plant and Construction
- Experience in engineering design or construction of the equipment or part of the manufacturing.
- Strong experience of running efficient facility system and continuous improvement for 115kV substation, Power supply, Generator, Natural Gas supply, Water supply, Air compressed supply.
- Plan, implement and supervise predictive and preventive maintenance management program to increase an efficiency of facility system equipment and Energy Management system.
- Manages the acquisition and maintenance of capital equipment for the facility & building, fire station & alarm system, and HVAC; writes specifications and coordinates purchasing, delivery and installation.
- Develops and manages or assists with the development and management of annual operating budget for facility & building and plant utility cost.
- Implements short- and long-range team goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement.
- Directs and coordinates the activities of Engineer, technician, service contractors and local government in the provision of comprehensive construction project management, facility maintenance and repair services, carried out facility -wide by a large, diverse multi-trades workforce.
- Monitors service contracts for compliance and cost; monitors performance of in-house workforce and expenditures of assigned cost centers; monitors quality of work to ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance with state, and laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Oversees the supervision of assigned personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Participates in the development and implementation of shop-specific safety training programs, and assures workforce compliance with EHS requirements.
- Establishes and directs annual maintenance programs, to include off-season testing/overhaul of heating and refrigeration systems and associated control systems, as well as seasonal start-up and shutdown.
- Conducts maintainability review of new construction design documents to assure compliance with published standards and to ensure reasonable repair and overhaul access to facility systems.
- Good command of English and PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD).
- Familiar with FM and NFPA standard
- Problem solving skills such as root cause analysis
- Experience in 5S, TPM, WCM.
