JOB SUMMARY:

Provides support for Laboratory Testing Services Program. Works with Supervisor to perform maintenance projects for the lab. Provides support for Donor Industry members.

JOB DUTIES:

85% - Essential - Service Testing:

Performs ASTM Testing for Industry Donor Members. Uses ISO 17025 as a guideline for conduction ASTM C-67 Tests.

Other duties as assigned.

10% - Non-Essential - Research:

Assists Research Associate with current research related work as needed for Industry Donor Members.

Other duties as assigned.

5% - Non-Essential - Education:

Participates in semi-annual Industry Short Course. Assists attendees with test procedures and laboratory activities.

Participates in the Annual Clemson Brick Forum.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education - High School or Equivalent

Work Experience - .5+ years

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education - 1st Associate's Degree

Certfications - Forklift Safety

RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB KNOWLEDGE

Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Standard Hours: 37.5

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Expected Salary Range: ($ 28,060.00 - $ 36,125.00)

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
