The Role:

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Front-End) to help design, develop and deliver our key applications. Including a web based PDF viewer that incorporates AI functions.

What you'll be doing:

• Working closely with a tightly knit engineering organization to design, deliver, and improve technical solutions that delight our customers
• Develop and implement automated unit and integration tests to validate software functionality, performance, and robustness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in front-end development
• Use Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices during the development process, ensuring frequent and reliable software releases.
• Influencing, implementing and discussing new designs, architectures, standards and best practices for large-scale distributed systems

What we're looking for:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience working with front-end applications and frameworks, including Angular
• Proficiency with TypeScript, RxJS, Signals
• Hands-on experience with state management solutions (NgRx, Signal Store)
• An understanding of modern web application programming principles (e.g. favouring composition over inheritance), design patterns and architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests to ensure quality
• Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in agile software development methodologies (we use Scrum).

Outstanding candidates will also have:

• Full-stack experience and back-end exposure.
• Experience working with Angular component libraries such as Angular Material, PrimeNG, or Kendo UI.
• Experience developing desktop applications with Electron, especially Angular-Electron integration
• Experience with monorepo architecture, particularly with Nx workspace
