What We'll Bring:

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background in software development to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering and project management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions while actively contributing to the codebase when needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Project Management:
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project success.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code when necessary to support the team.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and DevOps.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Agile Practices:
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Track team velocity and continuously improve development processes.

Impact You'll Make:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management or engineering leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
