Description
- Define, document, facilitate and coordinate the overall Operations project management framework from building business requirements, planning, development, UAT to full deployment of systems related projects.
- Monitor and document implementation of deployed initiatives and post deployment performance of new products, new systems, and implemented strategic projects and services.
- Act as main point of contact (POC) for all Ops systems related issues (Life, Health, and GI), to monitor and drive IT resolution and ensure overall operational readiness before launch of a new product or service (e.g. definition of system requirements, review and sign-off of BRS, FS, UAT scope and sign-off.
- Monitor process & system and Projects UAT across Life, Health, and GI business related to new product implementation and strategic projects.
- Collaborate with IT on business and system requirements including issues to ensure efficient BAU processes and operational readiness related to new product offers and services.
- Collaborate with various operations Department Heads or business /process owners to review and sign-off on BRS, FS, UAT scripts
- Monitor and provide regular updates to Operations re: project status, status of system UAT and progress of solution
- Collaborate with IT and SSC to identify Ops production tools evolution requirements/priorities
- Ensures efficient allocation of manpower resources required to do new product and systems production testing.
- Gather and analyze data and create reports on technical and production issues, and improvement opportunities from digital product implementation
- Coordinate with OPS SME’s in building team of testers per project and lead in screening candidates
- Drive the development of system user manuals across Operations.
- Recommend process improvement initiatives that may be missed by the department heads/SMEs
- Liaise with project owners/dept heads to identify project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operational decisions; inform manager/superior if issue is of sensitive nature and/or may require coordination with another department / parties
- Communicate with other business units and external partners on issues arising from new products or system launches.
- Spearhead the roll-out of new digital products to the business units in Operations and readiness to answer technical questions/concerns
- Responds to follow-ups and inquiries from various sources
- Perform cross-functional ad hoc tasks, assignments, or projects.
- Performs other related tasks, as maybe assigned, from time to time.
- Lead in people engagement activities for initiatives driven by OPS that aims to increase awareness in systems improvement and technology productivity management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Computer Science, or equivalent is a preference
