Description and Requirements

Lenovo SSG Infrastructure Group Professional Services team is looking for highly motivated individuals to be Solution Architects focused on services that will assist in Pre-Sales activity and drive growth in Latin America. Candidates will be responsible for interacting with different sales areas helping design solutions according to customer requirements. The role may require up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate should have experience in the IT services business and be able to resolve complex problems and build appealing solutions for Lenovo Customers.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

At least 5 years experience in IT operations, services or consulting

Advanced understanding of Lenovo's Portfolio of Products and solutions

Intermediate to advance knowledge of Public Cloud Services as well as costing models

Intermediate understanding of Data Center Operations as well as Co-Location Services

English: Fluent

Portuguese: Fluent

Spanish: Fluent is desired

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline

At least 10 years of experience in IT operations, services or consulting

At least 3 years experience in understanding of Services business model or services leadership

Additional information requirements:

Excellent teamwork skills

Strong client-facing verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Ability to excel in a matrix organization

Strong track record of self-motivated and innovative capability in responding to changing business needs

Strong organization skills to maintain updated pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics / Sales CRM

Assignment to Sao Paulo corporate office but willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Daily work will include

  • Working directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide services / solution recommendations
  • Interaction with services and hardware/software sales team to provide services scope, sizing, and responses/proposals
  • Leading solution and pricing reviews with leadership and transitioning projects from pre-sales to services delivery team

Skills needed:

  • Excellent understanding of customer needs and sales stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience delivering services, support, and/or demonstrations on Hybrid Cloud / AI solutions
  • Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud Solution design, architecture, migration, and cost optimization for the following technologies
  • Azure, VMware, Nutanix (required)
  • OpenShift, AWS, GCP (desired)
  • Server, storage, networking, datacenter infrastructure understanding
  • Enterprise Storage concepts
  • On-prem File and Block Storage (required)
  • ONTAP storage features and migration experience (desired)
  • High performance file systems and distributed storage such as WEKA, IBM Spectrum Scale, BeeGFS, Luster, VAST, DDN (desired)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in technical solutioning and selling roles desired
  • Knowledge of business models such as OPEX / CAPEX
  • Knowledge on SAP HANA & HPC solutions is a plus
  • Industry certifications are a plus
  • AI solution scoping and understanding is desired, including
  • Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) Expertise.
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Data Engineering
  • NVIDIA Enterprise AI Software Suite
  • AI Deployment and MLOps
  • AI Problem solving & analytical capabilities (Critical Thinking)
  • Understanding of AI Security, Governance, policy
