Our Crown Technology & Platforms team is part of the Technology Center Tires in Hanover-Stöcken and belongs to the Platform Development and Industrialization Truck & Bus department. We specialize in technology development. In doing so, we develop design platforms for crown area of the product, considering new applications and required performance profiles. In addition, we release existing platforms for a broader product portfolio.

Job Description

For our Crown Technology & Platforms team within the Technology Center Tires at the location Hanover-Stöcken, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) starting as soon as possible. The position comes with a working time of 20 hours per week for about 18-24 months and with the following tasks:

• Creation of presentations, diagrams and MS Excel spreadsheets
• Update of data in the databases
• Support with the preparation of data
• Support with new communication tools (Intranet, Connext etc.)
• Travel expense accounting
• Creation of purchase requisition (not enable!)
• Organizational duties/ tasks
• Support with the planning of tests including documentation
• Support with the implementation and evaluation of special tests
• Collection of data from the measuring devices
• Usage of internal order systems
• Support with the creation of specifications

Qualifications

• On-going studies in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Natural Sciences, or similar study programs
• Good project management skills
• Basic knowledge in product development methods & technologies
• Practical experiences in data evaluation and preparation
• Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge in databases
• Fluent English language skills, both wirtten and spoken
• Good German language skills are a plus
• Skilled in handling complex topics with a research-oriented approach
• Analytical, structured and independant working style
• Distinct customer- and result-orientation
• Proactive team player with open & clear communication skills
