The GEA Heating & Refrigeration Technologies Division is a leading global manufacturer of components for industrial heating and cooling technology and other systems, in particular compressors, units, liquid chillers and heat pumps.

To strengthen our Controlling Division team, we are looking for a Performance Controller (f/m/d) at our location in Düsseldorf or Berlin or S' Hertogenbosch.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Management Reporting: Responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports, including target/actual comparisons to track performance and identify deviations.
  • Data Analysis: Independent extraction of relevant data from various sources, ensuring validation, preparation, consolidation, and thorough analysis.
  • Results Presentation: Preparation and structured presentation of findings for decision-makers, supporting informed strategic decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Handling of special inquiries and development of customized analyses to address emerging business needs.
  • Planning Support: Assisting in the planning process by providing data-driven insights and financial assessments.
  • Process & Tool Optimization: Conceptual development and continuous improvement of processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Education: Successfully completed studies in economics, ideally with a focus on finance or controlling.
  • Professional Experience: Relevant experience in the field of finance or controlling, preferably gained in an international industrial company.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with S4/Hana Group Reporting, AP SEM-BCS, SAP BW and SAP Analysis is an advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability for analytical and conceptual thinking, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Numerical & IT Affinity: High affinity for numbers and IT, ensuring precision in financial data analysis and system interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Team player with excellent communication skills, fostering productive interactions in a dynamic work environment.
  • Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both German and English, ensuring effective communication in an international setting.
