Build your career with IU Health! We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Learning and Systems Analyst to join the Learning and Development team at our Downtown Indianapolis location on a hybrid schedule.

This role plays a critical part in advancing IU Health’s data-driven learning strategy by delivering actionable insights that shape the impact of our systemwide Learning and Development initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in HR and/or L&D data analysis, Power BI dashboard development, and translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations. This position supports decision-making through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and performance measurement—helping to drive continuous improvement and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced data analysis and database management to support learning programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze learning and HR data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and measure program effectiveness.
  • Design and implement data collection processes and measurement strategies to support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Serve as an expert user and trainer, enabling others and promoting a data-informed culture across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs and deliver impactful data solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with governance and confidentiality standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data design, metric inventories, and user guides.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and business partners.

Our Ideal Candidate would have:

  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from complex Human Capital Management (HCM) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • A background in navigating large, highly matrixed, and complex organizational environments.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources and/or Learning & Development is strongly preferred.
  • A solid understanding of learning program evaluation and assessment methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate learning data insights into actionable strategies.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science , Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Requires 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a human resources context.
  • Requires advanced proficiency in computer applications and Business Intelligence Solutions (e.g., MS Excel, SQL, Python/R, Tableau, and/or Power BI).
  • Experience in designing and implementing data collection processes, consulting on employee development strategies, and developing dashboards and reports to help drive business decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to generate insights and measure program effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders and team members
