Position Description:

Designs and develops applications using Java, SQL, and Angular. Tests and maintains application features by leveraging test automation frameworks and tools such as Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, and TestNG. Develops Spring RESTful web services applications using Open Source Frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot, and Angular. Deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Utilizes Agile development methodology. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) building and executing test automation for front and back-end applications, service layers, and end-to-end programs using Java or JavaScript (for back-end), and Cucumber BDD framework with Selenium (for front-end); and performing service level testing using Karate or RESTAssured or Postman.
• DE creating strategies and roadmaps for test automation and technical designs – documenting, communicating, and presenting design strategies to peers and senior leadership.
• DE delivering and promoting automated test cases via Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins Build Server, Maven, and Git/Stash); and organizing testing and automation development tasks using delivery tools -- Jira, Git, and Confluence.
• DE in Object-Oriented development; and developing automated test cases, using Oracle SQL and Java, J2EE, and Java Script.

Salary: $126,000.00 - $136,000.00/year.
