BNP Paribas brings almost the entire breadth of the Group’s services to its clients in the Netherlands. It is present in the market with 9 different businesses, ranging from Corporate and Institutional Banking to Asset Management to Arval (mobility solutions), Cardif (insurance), Personal Finance and more. The only major part of the business that is not offered in the market is retail banking. The Netherland’s 1500 employees are spread across five offices in four different cities. Collectively, the businesses have realized healthy growth over the past few years, which makes the Netherlands one of BNP Paribas’ growth engines.
One Bank strategy
At the heart of the strategy that has helped drive growth at BNP Paribas in the Netherlands is a “One Bank” vision and mindset. Seven years ago, the leaders of each of the 9 different businesses in this market joined together to put together a strategy and plan that would enable greater collaboration across the different businesses.
Shared Service Center for Internal Engagement
As a part of this strategy, BNP Paribas NL established a Shared Service Center (SSC) for Internal Engagement two years ago. Its purpose is to help drive One Bank mindset among employees and to help them connect across the different businesses.
In your role, you will support the three members of the SSC. You will be joined by two senior communication managers and one senior event expert. The team is based at the offices of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) in the city center of Amsterdam.

Your work will involve supporting the team across all communication activities and across all phases – from strategy to planning to execution. The team is small and the culture is open, welcoming and encouraging you to take initiative and contribute ideas. The team will also rely heavily on you for operational support.
