As a Logistics Systems Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced logistics systems across manufacturing and warehouse operations. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, ensure data integrity, and deploy logistics technologies that align with Lucid’s operational goals.

As a Logistics Systems Engineering – Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and engineering logistics systems based on material handling equipment, logistics operations, and the requirements of warehouse, manufacturing, and production planning teams.
  • Developing and implementing tools to audit efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive cost reductions across factory and warehouse operations.
  • Leading and educating cross-functional teams in material flow design, material storage solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing improvement opportunities and implementation plans, and effectively communicating them to all relevant departments and organizational levels.
  • Planning, designing, and implementing logistics systems and processes.
  • Providing project updates, including timelines, milestones, challenges, risk assessments, and identified bottlenecks.
  • Assigning responsibilities to team members and tracking performance using KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KAIs (Key Activity Indicators).
  • Gathering hardware and software requirements to support the implementation of new processes.

You Will:

  • Design, implement, and support new engineering processes for logistics functions. Investigate delivery issues and drive system improvements in collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Manufacturing, Packaging, Finance, and Material Flow Engineering teams.
  • Ensure accurate data capture in Lucid’s logistics systems, based on input from cross-functional teams including Material Flow, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Packaging Engineering.
  • Develop project plans and analyze statistical data across multiple facilities to support Lucid’s logistics objectives.
  • Design and implement logistics systems for continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of business cases.
  • Create and maintain engineering project plans aligned with evolving logistics requirements across departments.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts using 8D and other problem-solving methodologies to enhance service capacity for both internal and external customers.
  • Support daily logistics operations by resolving issues, working within ERP systems, drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate and roll out approved improvements.

You Bring:

  • 4 years of experience in logistics systems, project management, or supply chain engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PP, MM, and EWM; strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or large-scale warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, 8D, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with RFID deployment/development
