Supply Chain Delivery Driver

$21.00- $28.38 an hour - Half-Time Evenings, 25 hours per week

  • Range includes evening differential.

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Supply Chain Delivery Driver that promotes effective material management by driving daily truck/courier routes to deliver supplies, lab specimens, and/or pharmacy supplies between BCH campus locations. Routes may include pickups/deliveries to non-BCH facilities. Works as a member of a team with other Supply Chain staff to receive nightly supply delivery and restocking of main warehouse. Receives outgoing shipments/supplies, being accountable for accurate accounting of quantity and quality of goods delivered. It is accountable for packing/loading shipments into vehicles for safe and secure transport. Ensures accurate and timely delivery of all outgoing packages to appropriate departments.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted Colorado driver's license required
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Picks up and delivers packages in accordance with established delivery routes and ad hoc dispatched requests.
  • Utilizes Courier Delivery Software to track package pickups and deliveries.
  • Breaks down shipments and correctly marks all packages for delivery utilizing established delivery destinations with departments’ specifications.
  • Is familiar with hospital departments and delivery locations to insure proper handling of all delivered supplies.
  • Maintains use of proper forms; e.g. bill of lading, packing slips, backorder slips, receiving documents, etc.
  • Cross-trained to insure proper distribution of supplies at all campus locations.
  • Possesses positive work habits and presents constructive, positive, professional image to persons inside and outside the department.
  • Maintains current purchasing inventory, and receiving records in Supply Chain ERP system when assisting with supply fulfillment.
  • Acts as a member of the Supply Chain teamin supplying the hospital with supplies needed for the hospital to provide excellent care for their patients.
  • Assists with inventory of storeroom supplies in the warehouse on daily basis in conjunction with other members of the Supply Chain team.
  • May assist with rotating dated stock in
