Our Exciting Opportunity:
The Co-op Student – Technical Support position in CX (Customer Experience) Team is a unique opportunity to join our Technical Support Organization. You will learn the newest technologies and products developed at Ericsson. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and multicultural environment. You will support and learn alongside senior engineers and developers who are experts in their respective fields.
What you will do:
- Take part in 12 month Co-op working term with 8 hour work days/40 hours per week
- Learn and apply SW troubleshooting methodologies across RAN (Radio Access Network), end-to-end.
- Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team and help in investigations and analyses of customer issues.
- Perform fault reproduction and handle configurations in Ericsson's environment, gaining an understanding of RAN SW architecture and its connection to 3GPP standards.
- Engage in hands-on operation and maintenance tasks, SW/HW configuration with guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Support our digitalization efforts by exploring and implementing AI and Machine Learning solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will bring:
- Currently studying Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field at a Canadian university, in 3rd or 4th year.
- Knowledge (courses) related to Telecommunications, Radio Access Networks, IP, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting mindset.
- Practical knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Basic knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.

Eligibility requirements:
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent
- Available for a 12 month Co-op
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the Co-op
