Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Superintendent, Process Technical Services at our Cortez operations. The Superintendent, Process Technical Services is responsible for the metallurgical department, the overall operation and maintenance of the Metallurgical and Analytical labs, and the Over-the-Road (OTR) ore shipping operation from Cortez to Carlin. They will develop and lead a zero incident safety culture in which all employees are engaged and working toward the business goals of the organization. This individual will monitor and analyse performance in order to maximize production and identify opportunities for plant improvements while providing technical support to operations groups. They will interface with cross-functional groups to develop production targets for forecasts and budgets, as well as coordinate the above activities with other mine departments, environmental, and safety and health.
This position requires coordinating all site teams including fixed maintenance, electrical, shaft maintenance, mobile maintenance, operations, construction crew, technical teams (geotech and ventilation) as well as mineral resource management to ensure all inputs are considered into the planning cycle and optimized for the most efficient ore extraction.
