Designation Sr Engineer

Role Purpose

Leading mechanical design activities of HV components like Battery, OBC & DCDC converter

Responsibilities/ task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

• Having Mechanical design experience around 6-8 years (BE/BTech) 3-5 years (ME/MTech)
• Able to read and interpret the requirement document given by customer and convert it in design requirement
• Experience in Handling complex 3D models & 2D drawings in PLM environment (Catia preferred)
• Detail understanding of manufacturing processes like HPDC, Sheet metal stamping & Plastic Injection moulding and understand design requirements based on these manufacturing process
• Understands material selection for HV component design
• Understands simulation requirements & give inputs to CAE team for required simulations
• Deep understanding of GD&T application, drawings review
• Review basic design calculations (structural & thermal) / prepared some calculator templates
• Completed at least one design & development cycle
• Understands BEV/HEV systems, Detail component working of HV battery, OBC & DCDC converter
• Basic understanding of FMEA & other quality tools
• Good communication skills
