Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM HR OPERATIONS & LABOR RELATIONS to join our HUMAN RESOURCES team!
The Vice President – System Strategic Human Resources & Labor Relations is accountable for the direct and indirect supervision of all Human Resources functions within Corporate Services. This position partners with other Aspirus HR Leaders to oversee designated aspects of the HR function for Aspirus with the goal to provide effective solutions for Aspirus employee and labor relations programs including fostering interdisciplinary collaborative relationships with all entities of Aspirus, Inc.
The Vice President – System Strategic Human Resources & Labor Relations is accountable for:
- Executing growth initiatives and all global initiatives that impact people, process, and technology.
- Directing and standardizing all positive employee relations and labor relations functions.
- Assisting with the strategic and operational integration of employee and labor relations practices across the Aspirus system
- Assuring the effective implementation of a unified HR employee and labor relations function throughout Aspirus.
- Collaborating with System HR leaders in directing and overseeing designated aspects of the HR functions for Aspirus.
HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE
Experience/Qualifications
- Anin-depthandup-to-dateknowledgeofemployeerelationslawsandtechnology,as well as basic statistics, at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration. Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or Master’s Degree in Business Administration with union and collective bargaining experience required
- Sevento ten years’ progressively more responsible related work experience, (with approximately three to five years in health care labor relations preferred), necessary to direct and manage Aspirus, Inc. Human Resources functions.
- PreviousexperienceinstandardizingHR positive employee and labor relations functionsina health care system or other complex organization is preferred, with working knowledge of total rewards, HRIS, workforce planning/recruiting, organizational development, training is highly preferred.
- Advancedinterpersonalskills in conflict management is necessary to effectively represent Aspirus to outside agencies, often in highly sensitive situations, and to discuss and resolve complex employee relations problems.
- Advancedanalyticalskillsnecessaryto develop and implement new Human Resources systems, techniques and/or procedures; determine personnel needs; develop and administer department expense and revenue budgets; and prepare complex special and recurring reports and analyses.
- SPHR Certification is preferred.
