Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a MANAGER - REVENUE CYCLE ANALYTICS - PROGRAM MANAGER to join our REVENUE CYCLE team!

The Revenue Cycle Program Manager performs project management activities for revenue cycle system upgrades and implementations, including small to large scale projects relating to system changes. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing project schedules, budgets, risks, objectives to ensure overall project success as well as monitoring the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing and communicating with project stakeholders on applicable matters in order to deliver the project objectives on time and within budget. This position will be responsible to coordinate clear communication and statuses for all projects affecting revenue cycle including ones that may be led by other areas of the organization. This person will have oversight of the training team within the Revenue Cycle Analytics department.

HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize project management tools and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project) normally acquired through previous work experience, completion of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education.
  • Three to five years’ relevant project management experience preferred.
  • Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies desirable.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle practices desired.
  • Knowledge of best practice for project management and familiarity with related technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and sensitivity to organizational politics.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to collaborate including building, leading, motivating and coordinate activities of a cross-functional and/or multi-corporate team.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts and graphs.
  • Possesses a high level of resourcefulness, innovation, and interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to deal with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to travel to various business unit locations as necessary in order most effectively provide for needed connections to key stakeholders for the success of the assigned projects.
  • Understanding of general business concepts and regulatory environment.
  • Position requires some travel.

  • Possess conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required.
