We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Valor Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort, and a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor as part of the DARPA SPRINT program. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and designing upgrade kits for the legacy fleet. This position is onsite in Fort Worth; however, exceptions for alternate work arrangements may be considered.
Drive System Design Engineer (across multiple levels)
Bell is seeking a Drive System Design Engineer to join one of many development and production programs. The Drive System Design Engineer at Bell is responsible for design activities and subsystem integration for complex mechanical components including gears, bearings, shafts, housings, lubrication systems, and other supporting components. Drive system design engineers support the manufacturing, assembly and validation of these mechanical components at Bell’s drive system manufacturing and test lab facilities in the DFW metroplex. Finally, the drive system design engineer ensures compliance with all best practices, customer and industry specifications in support of air vehicle performance and safety requirements. This position will have the opportunity to mentor under more experienced engineers and subject matter experts. This position is located at Bell’s headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX.
