We are seeking a detail-oriented Seller - Accounts Receivable Clerk to service Copart. The ideal candidate will manage outstanding accounts, ensure timely payments, review billing accuracy, and maintain strong relationships with our sellers. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. The candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work well with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Understand the provisions of seller contracts, including billing and Service Level Agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage daily operations of the collection queue, including contacting sellers and collaborating with the sales team to collect payments.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications and payments.
  • Collaborate with internal representatives to ensure accurate billing and seller satisfaction.
  • Support the team in improving collection processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
