Job Title: Senior Project Engineer – Power

Job Description:

The Senior Project Engineer will support the Project Manager in delivering Project Management activities for construction of power projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical documents, and BOQs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, contractors, site personnel and other stake holders.
  • Manage and oversee all technical and engineering aspects of EHV Substation, Overhead Transmission line and other electrical projects.
  • Review project designs, drawings, BOQs and specifications to ensure they meet client requirements, technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify risks and deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, logs, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and support in risk mitigation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • PMP certificate is plus.
  • 10–12 years of relevant PMC experience in construction of EHV GIS Substation, Overhead Transmission Line projects in Oil & Gas field.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Office.
