Diageo's Shared Service Center plays a crucial role in supporting Diageo’s Latin American markets by delivering high-quality financial, operational, and analytical services. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is integral to the business operating rhythm, providing insightful data and analysis to drive the long-term sustainable performance of Diageo. The FP&A Jr. Manager is responsible for supporting the Business Performance Management (BPM) processes by providing data-driven analysis and insights. This role ensures that financial data is accurately compiled, analyzed, and reported to support decision-making. The FP&A Jr. Manager collaborates with various collaborators to drive the BPM processes, delivering meaningful insights that contribute to the organization’s financial strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the BPM processes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across reports.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data to generate actionable insights that support decision-making processes.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management, ensuring information is relevant and timely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather vital data and validate financial assumptions.
• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Support the implementation of process automation and standardization efforts within the FP&A function.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Supervise and report key performance indicators (critical metrics) to supervise the financial health and performance of the organization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies during the execution of BPM processes.

• P&L and Cash forecast accuracy
• Timely and accurate reporting

Key Relationships

• Finance Team: Collaborates closely to gather, validate, and analyze financial data.
• Business Unit Managers: Works with managers across various business units to collect data and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Senior Managers: Presents financial reports, forecasts, and insights, offering support for strategic planning and decision-making.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP).
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Education: Degree educated and part qualified - studying for a professional financial qualification.
• Experience: 5 or more years proved experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
• Language: English Professional working proficiency
