As a Production Worker - Kitter, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting test strips, packaging products, and operating basic production tools. You will also be required to remove, separate, document, and report defective materials or products, monitor material levels, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additional duties may be required, and you should be prepared to work extended hours when necessary.
This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth within the company for those who demonstrate a strong work ethic. You will work in a production environment alongside approximately 90 colleagues. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with two shifts available: 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm and 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Established in Baltimore in 1930, the company offers nearly 600 different test-kit configurations, including options for wet-chemistry and dry-chemistry methods, along with microprocessor-based instruments.
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
