Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Fulfillment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our pharmacy fulfillment process. You will be responsible for managing supplies and consumables, packing, coordinating delivery routes, sorting packages, and ensuring accurate carrier pickups. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Supply and Consumables Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceutical supplies and consumables.
    • Coordinate with internal personnel to ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
    • Perform regular inventory audits and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Delivery and Delivery Logistics:
    • Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficient package distribution using the routing system.
    • Utilize either car or bike for package delivery as per operational requirements.
    • Serve as a courier and rescue courier when needed.
  • Route Sortation:
    • Organize and sort packages based on delivery routes and destinations.
    • Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of packages for efficient handling.
  • Packing Orders:
    • Prepare and pack orders according to established protocols.
    • Ensure proper labeling and documentation of packed orders.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while handling products.
  • Carrier Coordination:
    • Liaise with carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely collection of packages.
    • Verify carrier credentials and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
    • Communicate any special instructions or requirements to carriers for smooth pickup operations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of packages before dispatch.
    • Address any discrepancies or issues in package contents or labeling.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delivery,logistics coordination, or related field.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for inventory management and route optimization.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for delivery).

Additional Information

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, frequently move around the pharmacy away from the computer terminal, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $16.50/hr
