The candidate will lead and support global development and transfer projects involving third-party contract manufacturers (CMs).
The ideal candidate oversees all requests and activities towards the contract manufacturer with direct coordination from Research and Development (R&D) projects— from initial planning and production through quality control and delivery — ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are met.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, etc.) and contract manufacturing partners.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and project tracking (Gantt charts, dashboards, etc.).
- Work with CMs to ensure their production planning meets the project requirements and verify that the necessary materials, documentation, and specifications are available.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to track progress and identify risks or bottlenecks early.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost-efficiency, and supply reliability.
- Manage change orders, engineering change notices (ECNs), and product lifecycle updates in collaboration with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).
- 3–7 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or CM environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and quality systems.
- Proficiency with project management methods
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experiences in mechanical or mechatronics development projects including industrialization.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
