Accounts Receivable Clerk

$14.00- 16.00 per hour

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Palmview, TX

Responsible for managing account receivables, creating detailed reports, and maintaining budget goals. Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or email to solicit payment. Duties include receiving payment and posting amount to customer's account; preparing statements to credit specialist if customer fails to respond; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts.

Education Requirements/Work Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent with coursework in accounting
• 2 years relevant work experience, including processing invoices and checks and making and preparing bank deposits.
• Ability to perform computations with reasonable speed and accuracy
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, accounting software and Outlook Email or equivalent email programs , Quickkbooks
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
