Integration Management: Integrate Jira with other enterprise systems and tools using APIs and add-ons to create a unified data ecosystem
System Administration: Manage Jira user permissions, custom schemes, and system settings to maintain data integrity and security
Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for utilizing Jira features and functionalities.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor Jira performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to maintain system efficiency.
Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce Jira governance guidelines, including naming conventions, data quality standards, and best practices.
Skills & Requirements
7-10 years of experience in JIRA solution design.
Ability to analyze business requirements and design comprehensive Jira solutions.
Experience in creating and refining complex workflows.
Extensive knowledge of Jira core features, custom fields, workflows, permissions, schemes, and reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript), APIs, and integration methods to customize Jira functionalities specifically with Azure DevOps.
Ability to diagnose complex issues within Jira and develop creative solutions to address them.
Define and outline best practice processes for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change management, Knowledge management, Release Management, Service catalogue, Critical Incident handling, Asset Management using ITIL foundations as a framework.
