What You'll Do

Lead High-Stakes, Mission-Aligned Projects

  • Manage the full lifecycle of strategic projects—from scoping and planning to delivery and evaluation
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets
  • Proactively identify risks, track issues, and ensure alignment with institutional goals and compliance standards

Partner with Stakeholders & Drive Change

  • Serve as a key liaison to clinical, research, and academic stakeholders
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with leadership and project sponsors
  • Build trust and collaboration across departments while leading cross-functional teams

Leverage Data to Drive Outcomes

  • Work alongside a dedicated project coordinator to deliver executive reports, project updates, risk logs, and strategic documentation
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates to key governance bodies
  • Use data insights to inform decisions and anticipate roadblocks

Support Meetings & Events with Excellence

  • Plan and execute project-related meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and logistics
  • Collaborate with administrative support to manage communication and follow-ups
  • Ensure all stakeholders remain informed and aligned at every stage of project execution

Contribute to a High-Performing Team

  • Lead with accountability, transparency, and curiosity
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned by senior leadership
  • Help shape our project management culture through process improvement and collaboration

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of professional experience managing projects in a complex organizational environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
  • Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare, clinical, or academic setting
  • Expertise in executive-level reporting, change management, and enterprise planning

Salary Range

$80,000 + depending on qualifications

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
