Role Overview

As a (Senior) Development Engineer in Digital Semicustom Design, you will be responsible for the design, verification, and implementation of digital logic blocks for advanced DRAM products. You will contribute to the development of semicustom design flows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality silicon delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design digital blocks such as control logic, BIST, and DfT using semicustom methodologies.
  • Participate in logic synthesis, timing constraint development, and place & route (P&R).
  • Perform functional and gate-level verification, including equivalence checking.
  • Support the setup and continuous improvement of semicustom design flows.
  • Assist in post-silicon validation and debug.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in RTL design using Verilog or VHDL.
  • Completed at least one full project cycle from RTL to gate-level implementation or silicon validation.
  • Proficient with at least 3 EDA tools such as Fusion Compiler, Design Compiler, PrimeTime, or NCSim.
  • Experience with logic synthesis, STA, gate-level simulations, and place & route flows.
  • Familiarity with full-custom and semicustom design methodologies, and scripting in TCL, Perl, or similar languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with power analysis (RedHawk, Totem or similar).
  • Knowledge of DfT and BIST architectures.
  • Exposure to analog/digital co-design environments.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and MS Office tools.
